Anzac Digger – HSH

ANZAC DIGGER - HSH  is a 15hh bay stallion by ROYALLE SCOTSMAN (AUS) - HSH who was by the famous Foundation sire STAR BLACK MINSTRIL - FS HSH.

His sire Scotsman whose own performance had limited starts due to injury did have scores to 89 and has sired horses doing well in the Showring, Futurities, Camp Drafts and Polocrosse. Star Minstril's lines go back to the sire of Lt Guy Haydon's famous mare Midnight who died in the great Charge of Beersheba WW1 (through SISTER MONTY - FM HSH).  Digger's dam Chalani Illusion bred in SA, was Champion Junior as a yearling, going on to compete successfully in Showjumping, novelties and other Pony Club activities with success, and has heritage lines from both Hunter Valley NSW such as Chan - WH, Panzer - WH and Young Valais - WH, as well as old performance south Australian heritage sires such as RANNOCK - HSH (well known for siring International and State Polo ponies, Champion Led, Hacking, Dressage, Working and Enduarnce horses at all levels).
DIGGER has a superb temperament - very soft, willing and responsive stallion to ride. Lovely temperament passed on to progeny.  Unfortunately due to two freak accidents, injury has at this time put an end to his riding career.
